Groups are run through GroupMe. Private channels will be set up by our staff to include your mentor and your fellow 9 mentees. Here you will get to privately DM your mentor for advice + engage with curated content with your peers in a public chat.

Additionally, each group will have their own Google Classroom where their mentors can assign IQ Building assessment and quizzes, and where players can keep track of their development goals/progress. 

Mentor assignments are based on considering several factors, including personality, age, position and goals. After joining our waitlist, you'll receive an onboarding form that will help us gauge what type of mentorship group and mentor is best suited for your style.

Player development is not all about numbers and data - the modern player needs more. That’s why our program centers around YOU, the athlete, providing the personal connections, conversations, and experience you need to achieve consistent results on the field. 

1. Relationships

We get to know you as both a player and a person. We assess where you are now, define where you want to go, and craft a plan to conquer any obstacle in the way.  

2. Resources

You gain access to the Baseball IQ Content Vault (100+ hours of content), including hitting insights, professionally crafted throwing programs, and exclusive interviews. 

You can also access personalized video analysis, monthly Zoom Q&A sessions with top pro players, and parenting seminars.

Once a month, parents of BBIQ+ athletes can attend a parenting seminar run by the BBIQ staff + special guest speakers to ask questions and learn how to solve the issues their children are facing.

3. Mentor

All of our mentors have walked the path you want to walk. They've faced the same struggles as you, and found a way to overcome them.

They are excited to pass those lessons down so you can skip the guesswork and improve daily.

We will have specific groups that will be more position player-heavy vs pitcher-heavy.  However, we have found that a healthy mix of both is critical. 

The right mentor for you is more about personality than what position they play.

We empower players with the tools, resources, and knowledge to own their future.  We find that too much involvement from the parent in the mentor-and-player relationship damages trust.  Parents who send players our way have seen our track record and trust that our mentors and the system we put them in work.  

By request, we can set up a weekly report to be given to a parent or 1-on-1 parent meetings for any major issues that arise.
