Mentor assignments are based on considering several factors, including personality, age, position and goals. After joining our waitlist, you'll receive an onboarding form that will help us gauge what type of mentorship group and mentor is best suited for your style. 

We take great pride in making sure that each athlete in our program has the perfect mentor for what they need.

Most coaches attempt to throw band-aids on the problems that are holding you back; instead, we go after the root of the issues, by seeking to understand what you need both mentally & physically to become the best version of yourself. 

Player development is not all about numbers and data - the modern player needs more. That’s why our program centers around YOU, the athlete, providing the personal connections, conversations, and experience you need to achieve consistent results on the field. 

1. Relationships

We get to know you as both a player and a person. We assess where you are now, define where you want to go, and craft a plan to conquer any obstacle in the way.  

2. Resources

You gain access to the Baseball IQ Content Vault (100+ hours of content), including hitting insights, professionally crafted throwing programs, and exclusive interviews. 

You can also access personalized video analysis, monthly Zoom Q&A sessions with top pro players, and parenting seminars.

Once a month, parents of BBIQ+ athletes can attend a parenting seminar run by the BBIQ staff + special guest speakers to ask questions and learn how to solve the issues their children are facing.

3. Mentor

All of our mentors have walked the path you want to walk. They've faced the same struggles as you, and found a way to overcome them.

They are excited to pass those lessons down so you can skip the guesswork and improve daily.

You are signing up to be on a team and embark on a transformation journey over the next 12 months. At the beginning, we get a baseline of your current situation, your short-term and long-term goals, and what you want to accomplish over the next year.

We then set monthly and quarterly goals, in which the players share them with their mentor and team. Each month, a check-in and self-report on those calls to their mentorship group, and if for any reason you are short of those goals or off track, we help you overcome the “real issues” holding them back and give you a game plan to tackle those over the next 30 days.

You will get what you put into the program; the more you engage with your team, show up for meetings, ask questions, and stick to the plan you create, the better results you get.

To become the best, you must have a solid foundation; the first 90 days are getting you the foundation and mindset you need to win. We are playing the long game, which will help you get some short-term wins, but we are not worried about wins; we want to win championships.

We will have specific groups that will be more position player-heavy vs pitcher-heavy.  However, we have found that a healthy mix of both is critical. 

The right mentor for you is more about personality than what position they play.

We empower players with the tools, resources, and knowledge to own their future.  We find that too much involvement from the parent in the mentor-and-player relationship damages trust.  Parents who send players our way have seen our track record and trust that our mentors and the system we put them in work.  

By request, we can set up a weekly report to be given to a parent or 1-on-1 parent meetings for any major issues that arise.

If you wish to cancel outside the first 30 days, you will be removed after the quarter ends and not be billed for the next quarter. The maximum commitment you need to make is 3 months. However, we've found those who are committed to 6+ months stay more disciplined and focused than others.
